All federal government accounts use secure authentication through GCKey (username/password) or Sign-In Partner (banking credentials). Common services include filing taxes through NETFILE, submitting EI reports, checking immigration application status, accessing veterans' benefits, managing business tax accounts (GST/HST, payroll deductions, corporate income tax), and authorizing representatives. Most services require multi-factor authentication for enhanced security. Access is available 24/7 except during scheduled maintenance periods.
